Friday 12th December, another day, possibly my last at Pattaya Fishing Park as they have hiked the price for foreigners by 50% to ฿1,200. It was a busy day with around 15 other rods in the water and quite a few line tangles. It appears they have stocked up with striped catfish as there were quite a few more caught than I have seen before. I ended the day with 4 striped catfish and 10 Mekongs, the largest approximately 25kg. One of my friends caught two decent Mekong giant catfish, one of around 40kg and one of around 30kg. Another friend caught the very nice Mekong pictured below that tipped the scales at 47kg.
